“The definitive book on contemporary campus sexual culture.

Grigoriadis is anything but "anti-man" and she takes the side of the accused in parts of the book.

This is a quick read and a juicy exposé punctuated by fascinating historical tidbits about women's anti-rape activism in the '70s, the emergence of "date rape" in the '90s, and the major scandals that forced universities to get serious about campus rape in the 2000s.

Vanessa Grigoridias has an incredibly deft touch with the students she interviews and she's able to dig beneath the surface into all kinds of uncomfortable feelings and truths. A thoroughly researched and deep exploration of every side of the sexual assault issue on campus from the accused boys to the "survivor" girls to the parents who are destroyed. It is an evolving process and Grigoriadis has given us a lot to think about in her common sense and research based approach to the subject.

This is a complicated and tricky topic, and this book doesn't pretend otherwise. A must read for students and parents about the hidden danger on campus and the need to look out for one another.
